We meet 15 times a year to showcase our talent in creating images of art.
Our calendar year is August to May. Meetings are the 3rd and 5th Thursdays between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. at St. Philips Lutheran Church in Fridley, Minnesota.
All 3rd Thursdays September through April are devoted to Digital images.
In August and where there is a 5th Thursday, competition is devoted to showcasing print images.
Our members are encouraged to submit digital images for the monthly club competition and are to be submitted by the 5th of every month. The images are then evaluated by some of the best judges of Art and Photography in the Twin Cities area.
Our meetings typically start with updates from the President and other business issues, followed by the judge’s commentary and then their own own instructive and inspiring show of Photography.
There is usually time in between for a friendly chat and some snacks! We are a bunch of friendly and witty photographers who do not hesitate to share our knowledge of the craft or learn a technique from others.
